Intellectual Assets Centre

Being in the design business we fully recognise the value in managing our intellectual assets. Many trainers and other service organisations are often unclear about what intellectual assets are and how managing them efficiently can greatly increase the value of their business.

We have been privileged to work for IA Centre, based in Glasgow, Scotland. The IA Centre is a first, in Scotland and indeed in Europe - a unique centre to assist businesses in deriving value from their IA

In one Centre they bring together a range of expertise to help organisations realise their potential through managing their intellectual assets. For those organisations based outside Scotland they are continuing to produce a number of tools that can be accessed via their website to assist companies in various ways.

MLD

Mobile Learning Design Ltd is a new joint venture bringing together the best learning design from RSVP Design and mobile software development from Functional Insight. Key partners in MLD include:

Graham Cook

Geoff Cox

Scott Sherwood

Marek Bell

Our vision at Mobile Learning Design is to create the world's most engaging and immersive learning experiences. Using mobile technology, with a primary focus on life-long learning, MLD brings the best of new technology to augment and extend classroom activities, create new outdoor learning experiences and support our learners throughout their everyday lives.

Our approach is about paradigm-breaking innovation, utilising our multi-disciplinary experience to challenge the prevalent idea that mobile learning is simply about presenting portable, electronic versions of printed material. We recognise the value of this approach (see quicklink 'example of using the iPad for mobile learning) but we have ambitions for the field that more fully exploit the power of mobile technology, and the inherent learning-power of those who use it.

For more details on MLD contact graham@rsvpdesign.co.uk or call +44 141 561 0387.
