Activities to Support Building Diversity & Cultural Awareness Skills

When building diversity and cultural awareness skills for the workplace, the starting point is often self-awareness. Our range of experiential learning activities include a number of tools that can help individuals and teams explore how their view of things may be different from others, and how inherent biases can lead to interpersonal problems & issues arising due to a lack of diversity and cultural awareness skills.

Using these activities and tools allows for time to be spent helping people to identify and understand these key issues, and through experiential learning, develop responses to these vital organisational issues. Improving diversity skills and cultural awareness skills in this way can help people get some experience of truly understanding an alternative point of view, a different method of thinking or someone’s behaviour in order to help build more diverse and therefore successful teams, groups and organisations.
