These Positive Emotions Cards developed by Appreciating Change offer a way to help boost mental health and general wellbeing through colourful, informative and easy to use cards.
It is estimated that forty percent of our well-being experience is within our own control, yet many people have no idea that they can change their own emotional state. This attractive and engaging card pack provides everything you need to help adults to boost their wellbeing and develop greater emotional resilience.
Research shows that there are many benefits from feeling good, from better wellbeing and mental health, through to greater resilience, improved relationships and work performance. These cards spell out the specific benefits of each emotion at home and at work.
Feeling good is good for us and by exploring our emotions and taking positive actions, we can influence how we feel. This pack contains thirty positive emotion cards with over a hundred targeted coaching questions, and tailored calls to action to help generate positive emotional states both personally and with clients. For example many people find it hard to identify and distinguish different positive feelings and are stuck with ‘I’m fine’ or ‘I’m good’. Ask them to pick a card from the 30 pictures illuminating the different emotions and describe their feelings in their own words. You can then help them to discriminate between, and describe, different positive feelings.
Included in the deck are clear explanations of the psychological and workplace benefits of experiencing these emotions.
