Activities to Support Development of Technical Skills

Technical Skills are often referred to as 'hard skills', and often not thought suited to development by experiential learning methods. However there is no reason why such technical skills cannot use good learning principles. Examples such as participant-centred learning, generative learning, problem-based learning and cooperative learning can all be used to build technical skills within an organisation. Our range of experiential learning activities can be used to reinforce development of technical skills or provide practice opportunities in a working environment across a wide range of learning outcomes. Outlined below are a series of technical skills areas where experiential learning activities can be used to good effect.
