Stress & Mindfulness

Stress is something everyone feels at times, and there are all kinds of stressful situations that can be a part of daily life. Low-level stress can even be helpful or motivational but experiencing a lot of stress over a long period of time can also lead to a feeling of physical, mental and emotional exhaustion, often called burnout. This can affect performance of self and others and it is important to help recognise and deal with feelings of stress or burnout.

In recent years, mindfulness has become a staple of mental health and wellness in many organisations. Mindfulness is the idea of learning how to be fully present and engaged in the moment, aware of your thoughts and feelings without distraction or judgment.
The experiential learning tools listed below provide opportunities for participants to discuss stress, take some time out to practice mindfulness and concentration, reducing anxiety, or simply practice an important area of learning: reflection.
